Twist-Out With Side Rolling Twists and Bantu Knots

Here's a rockin' style that I'm wearing this week! This style requires no bobby pins or elastics. It's super easy to do with no additional accessories needed!

My hair was stretched out the day before for this style using medium-sized twists, so it was already fully detangled. I first parted out a curved section of my hair all the way to the crown/middle of my head. I spritzed it lightly with water, then applied product.

I made a rolling twist going up the section of hair until I reached the top of the section. To do a rolling twist, simply roll the hair under itself, continuing along the section. I ended the section with a bantu knot by wrapping the remaining hair around itself, securing the very last bit of hair underneath the "knot". I got this amazing idea from a style done on Des of Girly and Curly!

I repeated this two more times.

I made chunky two-strand twists with the rest of my hair, moisturizing it and applying product along the way.

As the water and product dried, I pinned up the twists all around my head to keep them from shrinking, stretching them out for the most elongated twist-out. I covered my hair with a satin scarf and called it a night.

The next morning, I simply unraveled the twists and fluffed them out!
