I love the shape of it! It reminds me of a computer mouse.
You can also see that the bristles alternate from long to short.
The Tangle Teezer went easily through my wet, conditioned hair. It's an excellent detangler that separates tangles as well as capturing shed hair. I didn't feel any pulling on my scalp and I suffered no serious breakage! This brush literally glides through my hair! Even if your hair is on the thicker side, you can see that the bristles reach the surface of the hair, so you can be sure that your hair is being fully detangled. The only issue is that it can be slippery and hard to hold in your hand if your hands are wet with product. Below are pictures of my hair after being detangled, and the brush with my shed hair in it.

My only problem with it is trying to hold onto it when my hands have product on them. I would like it better is the backside was more of a grippy rubber. It works great on my girls' hair though.
I tired this brush once before and ended up giving the brush to my niece. I just couldn't hold the brush with my slippery conditioner hands. I wish they would add a strap to the brush so I could slip my hand through the strap and it will stay on my hand.
I surprisingly didn't have a whole lot of trouble gripping the brush as I detangled. My hands usually don't get too slippery with product while I'm detangling, so that might be it!
I bought one of these about a year ago. I loved how it detangled my hair. But I did notice months later that my hair was shredded. My ends had holes in it like spiral notebook paper. TT does the job, but ladies please keep an eye on your ends. I hope you all have better results.
I absolutely love this product! At the moment I cant live without it as it is so versatile and now I use it in both my children's hair . No morre tears

Chile, you're braver than me. That thing looks like a torture device, plus I've heard some accounts of hair being snagged and ripped out.
It reminds me of the Denman brush. (Do people still use those?) And that thing did absolutely nothing for my naps. So maybe I just have an adverse reaction to the TT because of past experiences lol
Lol! It was actually really smooth for me! No snagging or anything, it just glided through my hair.
