My Puffy Hair Looks So Pretty!

Yesterday, I had some of my cousins over. That day I was rocking my signature puff, but I had taken a nap in the afternoon. I was still napping when they had arrived so I didn't see them when they came in.
When I did wake up, I went down to greet them. As soon as she saw me, one of my cousins, who is eight years old, said with a disgusted expression and tone, "Your hair is all puffy."
I went to pick up my little cousin, her younger sister, who is almost three.
She said, "Look at your hair! It looks so pretty!"
"You like it?" I asked her.
"Yes!" she says, and starts to pat my puff.
For every insult, there is an equal and opposite compliment. My almost three-year-old cousin loves my puffy hair! And that's all that matters :)

As it gets colder outside, I want to be sure that the moisture I put in my hair lasts as long as possible. If you have not seen my winter hair care post, do check it out here! In this post, I mentioned that it is important to moisturize your hair more during the colder, drier months. For me, I try and moisturize twice a day - once in the morning, and once before I go to bed. However, I think I have found a way to maximize the moisture I put into my hair at night. In fact, it maximizes the moisture so much that I don't even need to moisturize the next morning.

[CLOSED] Mossy Rock Designs Paintings Giveaway!
If you missed yesterday's natural hair art feature, do check it out here!
After coming across Katie's lovely paintings, I just had to have one for myself. I decided to purchase a custom painting, a large 17x22. Katie took a picture I had from National Afro Day and turned it into a stunning painting.
I then decided to add an African-inspired necklace.
You can see that I used this painting as my blog header and button. It's hanging on my bedroom wall at home and I am in love! HUGE thank you to Katie for taking the time to produce this painting. I'm so happy to have helped bring your Ethiopian daughter closer to you by purchasing this painting. It is the most beautiful, cherished item I have ever purchased and I truly am in love with it.
