Product Review: It's Perfectly Natural Replenish Pre-Wash Treatment

Claims: This pre-wash treatment is invigorating and will leave your hair feeling soft and manageable. Replenish will coat your follicles providing moisture and slip that shampooing and conditioning can strip away. It's like a creamy hot oil treatment.

Lavender and peppermint essential oils lend a hand to this creamy mix to help stimulate the scalp and promote growth.

You may see bits of herbs through out the product. This comes from blending and infusing, that's normal. Color of product can be different from what is shown. The effectiveness and quality of the ingredients are always the same.

Can be used by the entire family. Great for natural or relaxed hair.

Suggested Use: Before washing, or co-washing hair apply product on wet or dry hair from root to tip. If you choose to wet your hair first, use WARM water to open up your cuticles. Leave on for at least 30-60 minutes with plastic cap. Rinse out with WARM water only, apply conditioner as usual. Final rinse should now be with COLD water only, this will seal your cuticles and lock in moisture and shine. Style as usual.

Ingredients:

Unrefined Shea Butter, botanically infused oils and an organic blend of herbs along with, marshmallow root, silk amino acids, honey quat, wheat protein, peppermint oil, lavender, vitamin E, rosemary extract.

Consistency: Very Thick

Scent: Very herby. Naturally scented with lavender and peppermint.

I was pretty excited to use this product as I have never done a pre-wash treatment before. I first got my hair very damp (as in not so wet that it was dripping) with warm water as instructed. Then I applied this product to my hair.

Here is the product rubbed in. The little black specks you see are bits of herbs!

Here is my hair with the treatment in it. As you can see, I didn't use too much. It was very easy to apply, and my twists immediately felt soft.

I left this treatment in for about 45 minutes. I covered my hair with a plastic cap.

Here are my twists after rinsing this treatment out. I rinsed with cold water as instructed. My hair felt SO soft!

After rinsing this product out, I shampooed and conditioned as normal. I noticed that when I was rinsing out the shampoo, my hair felt less stripped than it normally did, which was awesome! Pre-wash treatments seem very beneficial. I'll definitely be using pre-wash treatments in the future!

Finally, here are my twists, about 80% dry after washing. Look at all that shine!
